A Carey Exempted Village School District tax levy was on the May 5, 2009 ballot in Wyandot County for school district voters.[1] The measure was defeated.[2]
If it had passed, the size of the new school bond would be $12,115,147, with an interest rate of 5.25% for 28 years. Millage would be 9.46. It would have cost a resident with an $82,100 property value about $237.85 per year.
