The Wausaukee Operation Expenses Referendum was a school bond issue on the August 19 ballot in the School District of Wausaukee, which is in Marinette County. The purpose of the referendum was to add to the school budget $675,000 per year for the next 10 years (totaling $6,750,000 overall) to help pay the basic operational costs of the school.

Text of measure

Be it resolved by the School Board of the School District of Wausaukee, Marinette County, Wisconsin, that the final school district budget for the 2008-09 through 2017-18 school years shall include, on a nonrecurring basis, an amount of $675,000 each year in excess of the revenue limits imposed by Section 121.91(2m) of the Wisconsin Statutes for the purpose of paying the cost of school district operation and maintenance expenses
