Charles T. L. Anderson was a district court judge for the 15B Judicial District, serving Orange and Chatham counties of North Carolina.[1] He has served in this position since 1996. Anderson was re-elected in November 2012 for a four-year term that expired in 2016.[2][3]

Education

Anderson received his undergraduate and J.D. (1976) degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[3][4]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Anderson has worked as an attorney for North State Legal Services (1976-1980), an attorney and director of North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services, and an attorney with the Northern Blue Law Firm. He also taught briefly at the North Carolina Central University School of Law from 1984 to 1985 and is a certified Superior Court mediator.[3]

2012 election

Anderson was re-elected to the 15B Judicial District without opposition on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
