Robert A. Farrance is a former county judge of the Manatee County Court of Florida. He served on the court from 1999 to 2020. Farrance was appointed to this position by Governor Jeb Bush on December 6, 1999, to replace Judge Marc B. Gilner.[1][2] Farrance retired from the bench on April 30, 2020.[3]
Education
Farrance received his B.A. from the College of Wooster in 1972 and his J.D. from Emory Law School in 1975.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the county court in late 1999, Farrance was an attorney and shareholder in the firm of McGuire, Pratt, Masio, Farrance and Rice, which represented the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.[2]
