North Carolina: Incumbent Lane Williamson, who was appointed to the Mecklenburg Superior Court in March of 2010, will face four competitors in the May 4, 2010 primary election. There are two Superior Court judgeships open. District Court judges Bill Constangy, Donnie Hoover and Hugh Lewis and former Judge Nancy Norelli are running for these positions along with Williamson. The four candidates with the most votes will advance to the general election in November.[1]
