The North Carolina Senatorial Districts Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in North Carolina on November 2, 1954, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have provided that any senatorial district with only one county in it be limited to one senator.[1]
