Shannon Phillips (South Carolina)

Shannon Phillips is a judge of the Spartanburg County Masters-In-Equity Court in South Carolina. She assumed office on July 1, 2021. Her current term ends on June 30, 2027.

Biography

Phillips received her bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in 2005 and her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2008. She began her legal career practicing civil litigation at Locke, Lord, Bissell & Liddell, LLP in Dallas, Texas. She then practiced employment litigation at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. in South Carolina from 2011 to 2013. Directly prior to her appointment to the court, Phillips practiced general civil litigation at Talley Law Firm, P.A.
