David B. Herrington is a judge for the 73B District Court and the Huron County Probate Court in Michigan.[1] Herrington was appointed to the district court bench in January 2008 by former Governor Jennifer Granholm to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Karl E. Kraus.[2] He was then elected to the position in November 2008. On November 4, 2014, Herrington was re-elected unopposed for another six-year term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3]

Herrington received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.[2]
Career
Before he became a judge, Herrington worked as an attorney in private practice. He also previously served as the attorney for the village of Port Austin, Michigan, and as an assistant prosecutor for Huron County.[2]
