Primary: He was successful in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 28.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Bruce L. Pickett and Scott J. Davis.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 40.7 percent of the vote. He competed against Bruce L. Pickett. [1][2]
