Rosalind Kurita was an Independent member of the Tennessee State Senate, representing District 22 on an interim basis from January to April 2019. She was appointed to the position on January 14, 2019.[1] She left the office in April 2019 after Bill Powers (R) was elected in a special election.
Kurita previously represented District 22 from 1996 to 2008.
Biography
Kurita served as a Montgomery County commissioner for District 3 from 1990 to 1994. She also represented District 22 in the state Senate from 1996 to 2008.[2]
Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits.
