John Harvey is a current member of the Utah Public Service Commission. Gov. Spencer Cox (R) appointed Harvey on May 11, 2023 to replace Ron Allen. [1]
Biography
Harvey was employed with the Utah Department of Commerce and in the private sector as a quantitative economist prior to his service with the Utah Public Service Commission. He has taught economics courses as a teaching assistant at Utah State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. [2]
Education
Harvey received a Bachelor of Science in economics and a Master of Science in economics from Utah State University. He earned a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. [3]
