Matthew Gutierrez is the superintendent of the Del Valle Independent School District, Texas. He assumed the role in October 2024. His previous experience includes serving as a deputy superintendent for Leander Independent School District.[1]
Past superintendents
- Annette Tielle is the superintendent of the Del Valle Independent School District. Tielle began serving as acting superintendent on June 27, 2019, and was appointed interim superintendent on July 1, 2019.[1] She was appointed full superintendent in 2020.[2] Tielle's previous career experience includes working as the district's deputy superintendent and the assistant superintendent of curriculum of the Comal Independent School District and the Pflugerville Independent School District.[1][3]
- Kelly Crook was the superintendent of the Del Valle Independent School District from 2011 to 2019. Crook's previous career experience included working as the district's assistant superintendent of finance and operations and as an educator in the Dallas Independent School District and Frisco Independent School District.[1][4]
