The Louisiana Commission on Governmental Ethics Amendment, also known as Amendment 47, was on the ballot in Louisiana on November 3, 1970, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. It proposed that the legislature provide equipment, funding and office space for the Louisiana Commission on Governmental Ethics.[1]
