A City of Nelsonville tax levy was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Athens County, Ohio.[1]

If approved this measure will add a tax levy for 1.5 mills for current expenses for 5 years. If enacted, this levy will commence in 2012 to be first due in 2013.

Text of the Measure

Language on the ballot:

An additional tax for the benefit of the City of Nelsonville for the purpose of current expenses at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each one dollar of

valuation, which amounts to $0.15 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[2][3]
