Val Clark Beard was a judge for the Brewster County Court in Texas.[1] She joined the court in 1980 and served until January 2014, when she retired and was replaced by Kathy Killingsworth.[2]

2010 election

Beard won the Democratic primary and was re-elected after running unopposed in the general election.[3]
