The United States Census Bureau found that 41.6 percent of county residents aged 25 years and older had attained a bachelor's degree or higher, compared to 27.1 percent for the state as a whole. The median household income in the county was $59,755, compared to $48,173 for the entire state. The current superintendent of Parkway Schools is Dr. Keith Marty, who was appointed to the position in July 2011. Prior to Parkway, Marty had served as the superintendent of [[Menomonee Falls School District, Wisconsin|Menomonee School District]] for ten years.
