A Carlisle School District Bond Measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Carlisle school district area which is in both Butler, Montgomery and Warren Counties.
This measure was defeated
Warren

This measure sought to create a bond in an amount near $28 million in order to build a new K-12 facility in the district. The Ohio Schools Facility Commission had stated that if a bond was approved by the district they would have been able to add near 52 percent of funds for the project, which would total near $57.8 million. The district noted older facilities and degrading conditions as the reason for seeking this bond and building a new school for students.[3]
If approved, this bond would add a .75 percent income tax increase for residents in the school area.[4]
