Donald L. Scholl represented Trustee Area 6 on the Manteca Unified School District Board of Trustees in California. He was first elected to the board on November 2, 2010, and served until 2014.
Scholl ran for re-election against one challenger in the general election on November 4, 2014.[1] Donald L. Scholl lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Four seats on the Manteca Unified School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 4, 2014. The Trustee Area 2 race featured incumbent Manuel Medeiros and challenger Ashley Drain. Drain defeated Medeiros and won the seat. Trustee Area 4 incumbent Nancy Teicheira and Trustee Area 5 incumbent Ruth Evelyn Moore ran unopposed and won re-election by default. In Trustee Area 6, incumbent Donald L. Scholl was defeated by challenger Alexander Bronson.

Manteca Unified School District is located in San Joaquin County, California. The county seat is Stockton. San Joaquin County was home to 704,379 residents in 2013, according to the United States Census Bureau.[3] In the 2011-2012 school year, Manteca Unified School District was the 57th-largest school district by enrollment in California and served 23,309 students.[4]
Demographics
San Joaquin County underperformed compared to the rest of California in terms of higher education achievement in 2012. The United States Census Bureau found that 17.9 percent of San Joaquin County residents aged 25 years and older had attained a bachelor's degree compared to 30.5 percent for California as a whole. The median household income for San Joaquin County was $53,895 compared to $61,400 for the entire state. The percentage of people below poverty level for San Joaquin County was 17.5 percent while it was 15.3 percent statewide.[3]
