Biography

Louie Sanchez was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico in 1995. His career experience includes working as the owner of Calibers Indoor Shooting Range and Gun Shop and as a healthcare sales representative.^[1]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

https://sanchezfornm.com/ Louie Sanchez is a native New Mexican who grew up in the South Valley of Albuquerque, in a traditional Hispanic family. Louie worked his way through high school as a maintenance man, cleaning bathrooms and mowing grass at Putt-Putt Golf, and put himself through college washing dishes. He earned his degree from the University of New Mexico. His family instilled in him the value of hard work, integrity, compassion, and personal responsibility, and those principles still guide his steps today. Today, Louie is the owner of Calibers Indoor Shooting Range and Gun Shop and he has worked in the healthcare field for over 27 years. Louie was one of the only business owners to stand up to Michelle Lujan Grisham during the pandemic, refusing to relinquish his rights as a business owner. As a small business owner, I know what it takes to open the doors of a successful business and keep them open, employing hardworking New Mexicans. Uncertainty in the tax code, burdensome regulations, and a workforce dependent on the government are stifling growth, but we have the solutions. Louie and his wife of 25 years, Cassie, are the proud parents of two sons, who both attend college. Louie and Cassie are proud to have a family who seek God’s direction in every decision.

Creating a community where everyone feels safe is the first step to strong families and a growing economy. I will support our law enforcement and fight to secure the southern border.
A good paying and stable job is the backbone of every successful New Mexico family
Many are employed by Kirtland Air Force Base, Sandia National Labs, or the Air Force Research Lab and their contracted partners off base, I will fight every day to protect their role and the jobs that provide

Defending our God given rights that are protected by the Constitution and in Congress; Creating safe communities; Securing the southern border; Supporting our National Security; Growing our economy;
