Billie Jo Clark ran for judge on the Benzie County Probate Court in 2012.
2012 election
Clark was defeated in the primary election, receiving 20.71 percent of the vote.[1][2]
July 11th forum
The League of Women Voters held a candidate forum to field questions to the Benzie County probate court candidates. If elected Clark plans to continue with Judge Nancy Kida's Treatment, Prevention, Recovery Program. Clark supports that an alternative resolution is a better solution than jail time.[3]
Education
Clark earned her B.S. from Ferris State University and her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.[3][4]
Career
Clark has practiced law for 19 years.[3]
