Susan Brown is the judge of the 185th District Court in Texas.[1] She first became a judge for the court in 1999.[2] She was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins on January 1, 2015, and expired on December 31, 2018.[3][4]

General: She defeated Garland McInnis in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.6 percent of the vote.

Brown defeated Democrat Vivian King in the general election for the 185th District Court, winning 56.2% of the vote.[7]
Education
Brown earned an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Texas A&M University in 1982. She went on to receive her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1985.[2]
