This measure sought to renew the current school levy which is set at a rate of $.29 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for permanent improvements, construction projects and furnishing and equipping school facilities as needed.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the ANTWERP LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT for the purpose of CONSTRUCTION OR ACQUISITION OF PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING IMPROVING, CONSTRUCTING, RENOVATING, REHABILITATING, REMODELING, FURNISHING AND EQUIPPING EXISTING BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES AND THEIR SITES FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES at a rate not exceeding 2.9 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.29 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3] |
