Fred Davis is a former District 7 representative on the Lowndes County Board of Education in Georgia. Davis lost his re-election bid in the general election on May 24, 2016.[1]

Four of the seven seats on the Lowndes County Board of Education were up for general election on May 24, 2016. There was no primary. District 4 newcomer Ronnie Weeks and District 5 incumbent David Clark ran without opposition. District 6 incumbent Philip Poole lost his re-election bid to challenger Glenn Gregory. Eddie Smith defeated District 7 incumbent Fred Davis.[1]
