Biography
Radewagen was born in Washington D.C. in 1947. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Guam in 1975.[1][2] She has previously worked as a congressional staffer for various members of Congress, including Phil Crane (R-Illi.) and J.C. Watts (R-Okla.). She also worked on the staff of the House Republican Conference.[1]

Radewagen was a member of Donald Trump's presidential transition team in his first presidential term. The transition team was a group of around 100 aides, policy experts, government affairs officials, and former government officials who were tasked with vetting, interviewing, and recommending individuals for top cabinet and staff roles in Trump's administration. She was part of the executive team.

Radewagen was a member of the RNC Rules Committee, a 112-member body responsible for crafting the official rules of the Republican Party, including the rules that governed the 2016 Republican National Convention.[6]

The convention Rules Committee in 2016 consisted of one male and one female delegate from each state and territorial delegation. The Rules of the Republican Party required each delegation to elect from its own membership representatives to serve on the Rules Committee.
