Arlene Goldberg

Arlene Goldberg is an acting justice for the New York County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 1st Judicial District of New York. She was appointed to this position in 2000.[1][2]

Education

Goldberg received her J.D. degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law.[1]

Career

Goldberg was first appointed to the bench in 1991, when she joined the New York City Criminal Court. She served there until 1998. In 2000, she was appointed acting justice of the New York County Supreme Court. She also served as an assigned New York City Family Court judge in 2003 and 2004. In 2009, she was reappointed to a nine-year term on the New York City Criminal Court by Mayor Bloomberg.[1]
