Mark A. Jeansonne was a judge of the 12th Judicial District in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. He was elected to this position in 2002 (effective on January 1, 2003) and was re-elected in 2008.[1][2] He decided not to run for re-election in 2014, and his most recent term expired on December 31, 2014.[3]

Education

Jeansonne graduated in 1987 from University of New Orleans with a degree in mechanical engineering. He went on to earn a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1991.[4]

Career

Prior to joining the court in 2003, Jeansonne practiced as an attorney in the areas of personal injury, healthcare and torts.[4]
