Robert Berntsen served on the Utilities Board in Iowa from May 2009 until April 2011.[1]

Prior to joining the Iowa Utilities Board, Berntsen served as corporate counsel for Vectren Corporation.[1] A native of Marion, Iowa, he served in the U.S. Army JAG Corps and in 2005 was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Education

Berntsen earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.[1]

Berntsen served on the Utilities Board in Iowa from May 2009 until April 2011.[1]

Appointments

Berntsen was appointed to the Iowa Utilities Board by Gov. Chet Culver in March 2009, and assumed office in May 2009. He served until April 2011.[2]
