Charles W. Welch, III was a judge for the Court of Common Pleas in Kent County, Delaware.[1] He first joined the court in 2000, and was reappointed by Governor Jack Markell in 2012 for a term that expires in 2024.[2]

Welch retired from the court in January 2020.[3]

On September 1, 2021, Welch announced his candidacy for the Office of Attorney General for the state of Delaware.[3]

Education

Welch received a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware, and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.[2]
