Constance Cohen

Constance Cohen was an associate juvenile judge of District 5C of Iowa. She was appointed to this position in 1994.[1] She was retained on November 2, 2010, to a six-year term that expired on January 1, 2017.[2][3]

Biography and Education

Cohen was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She received her undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University in 1972 and 1986, respectively.[1]

Career

Cohen began his career as an assistant Dallas County attorney. He then worked as the Executive Director of the Iowa County Attorneys Association, the Prosecuting Attorney's Training Coordinator, a sole practitioner and an employee of the Iowa attorney general's office. She also taught at Drake University.[1]

2010 election

Cohen was retained on November 2, 2010 with 71.39 percent of the vote.[2][4]
