Kenneth G. Clayton
Ken Clayton was an associate judge for the 25th Judicial Circuit. He was appointed to the court by Governor Jay Nixon on January 2, 2013.[1] Clayton was defeated in the 2014 election and stepped down at the end of his term in December 2014.[2]

Clayton ran for re-election to the 25th Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 5, 2014.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 45.3 percent of the vote. He competed against Mark Calvert.

Education
Clayton received his undergraduate degree from Northeast Missouri (now Truman) State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa School of Law.[2]
Career
Before serving as a judge on the 25th Judicial Circuit, Clayton was a partner at the law firm of Clayton and Anderson. He also previously served as an acting prosecuting attorney for Pulaski County and as a Phelps County prosecuting attorney from 1999 to 2006.[2]
