Jeffrey Connolly is a judge on the Seventh Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. He was appointed by Governor Dennis Daugaard (R) on November 29, 2016, and took office following the retirement of Judge Wally Eklund in December 2016.[1]
Biography
Connolly received a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1998 and a J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2006. From 2007 until he joined the court, Connolly was an attorney with the law firm Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson and Ashmore. He was previously a clerk for the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota.[1]
