Joseph Clark (Arizona)

Joseph Clark is a judge of the Navajo County Superior Court Division 1 in Arizona. He assumed office in 2021. His term ended in 2022.

He was appointed to the court on September 30, 2021 by Governor Doug Ducey to replace Ralph Hatch.[1]

Biography

Clark has served as Secretary of the Navajo County Bar Association for six years. He also has coached Little League and soccer for four years and has been on the Regional American Youth Soccer Organization Board of Directors for three years.[1]

Education

Clark earned his bachelor's degree in political science at Mary Washington University and his law degree at Penn State University.[1]

Career

Prior to serving as a judge, Clark worked as a prosecutor at the Navajo County Attorney’s Office. He helped start the Veterans' Court in 2014 and created the Early Resolution Program in 2018. In 2011, Clark was named the Arizona’s Misdemeanor Prosecutor of the Year by the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys’ Advisory Council. From 2000 to 2004, Clark served in the United States Marine Corps and became a Sergeant.[1]
