Luz Escamilla (Democratic Party) (formerly Luz Robles) is a member of the Utah State Senate, representing District 10. She assumed office on January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on January 1, 2029.

Escamilla has served as state Senate minority leader since January 17, 2023.[1]

Biography

Escamilla earned her B.S. in business marketing from the University of Utah. She went on to earn her M.P.A. from the University of Utah.

Escamilla has worked as director for Zion's Bank Business Resource Center. She has also worked as state diversity coordinator for Utah Domestic Violence Council. She is a health policy analyst.
