A Farmersville Village Current Levy Renewal measure will be on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the village of Farmersville, which is in Montgomery County.

This measure seeks to renew the current levy which is set at a rate of $.25 per $100 of assessed value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for current operational costs in the village.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Farmersville for the purpose of CURRENT OPERATING EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.25 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[2]
