These measures sought to renew the current school levy which is set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay for permanent improvement projects in the school district.[3]
Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
| A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Northwestern Local School District, Clark and Champaign Counties, Ohio for the purpose of permanent improvements at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[4] |
