Oneida County, Wisconsin: Judge Patrick O'Melia may soon see a familiar face in the Oneida County courthouse. Patrick's brother John F. O'Melia, an attorney at the law firm O'Melia, Schiek & McEldowney, is running for an opening on the Oneida County Circuit Court. There is an vacancy due to the imminent retirement of Mark A. Mangerson.[3]

Patrick's brother John made it clear that the brothers would run their respective branches separately and without interference.

"The branches are separate, they are each run as their own individual courtroom and just the fact that Patrick is the sitting judge in Branch I would not in any way hinder or interfere with how the operations of Branch II are conducted."[3] - John F. O'Melia

O'Melia will face Timothy L. Vocke and Michael H. Bloom in the election.[4] The election will consist of a primary on February 21st and general election on April 3rd.
