John Cowart

John Cowart was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Arkansas. He was defeated in the May 22, 2012, Republican primary.[1]

Biography

Cowart has served in the United States Marine Corps as an Artillery Officer/Private/Lieutenant Colonel. He is currently a detective/police officer for the Texarkana, Arkansas, Police Department.

Cowart ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Arkansas's 4th District. He lost to Tom Cotton in the May 22, 2012, Republican primary.[1]
