Kip Averitt
Kip Averitt is a former Republican member of the Texas State Senate, representing District 22 from 2002 to 2010.[1]
On March 8, 2010, Averitt announced he would be resigning his seat effective March 17 due to health issues.[2]
Averitt graduated with a B.B.A. in economics and finance from Baylor University and graduated with an M.B.A. from Baylor University.
Averitt's professional experience includes working as a state and local tax consultant for Ryan and Company. Before his election to the state senate, Averitt was a representative in the Texas House of Representatives from 1992 to 2002. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.[3]
