Susan Brown is the judge of the 185th District Court in Texas.[1] She first became a judge for the court in 1999.[2] She was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins on January 1, 2015, and expired on December 31, 2018.[3][4]

Brown ran for re-election to the 185th District Court.
Primary: She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: She defeated Garland McInnis in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.6 percent of the vote. [4][5][6] 

2010

Brown defeated Democrat Vivian King in the general election for the 185th District Court, winning 56.2% of the vote.[7]

Education

Brown earned an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Texas A&M University in 1982. She went on to receive her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1985.[2]
