Dennis McGuire is a judge of the Colorado 4th Judicial District. He assumed office on July 1, 2024. His current term ends on January 12, 2027.
Education
McGuire earned a bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University in 1998, and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve School of Law in 2001.[1]
Career
At the time of his appointment to the El Paso County Court, McGuire had served as a magistrate in the Colorado 4th Judicial District since 2015. He previously worked in the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender as a Supervising Deputy State Public Defender from 2007-2015, and as a Deputy State Public Defender from 2001 to 2007.[1]
