2016
The district school board elections on May 7, 2016, continued a pattern of low-contest races in the district. District 5 incumbent Lee Mosty faced Adrian Jenkins in the race. Incumbent Randy Necessary and Randy Randle were the sole candidates to file in Districts 6 and 7.[1] The District 6 and 7 elections were canceled and the incumbents were automatically re-elected. In District 5, Jenkins defeated Mosty to secure a seat on the board.[2]
