In 2002, voters decided on five statewide ballot measures in South Dakota. On June 4, voters decided on one measure. On November 5, voters decided on four measures.

• Three of the measures were legislatively referred constitutional amendments.
• One of the measures were initiated constitutional amendments.
• One of the measures were initiated state statutes.
• Voters approved one (20%) and rejected four (80%) measures.
