William Rankin
William "Will" Rankin was a Democratic candidate for Florida Chief Financial Officer in the 2014 elections.[1] William Rankin lost the general election on November 4, 2014.
He was a prospective 2012 Democratic candidate for District 34 of the Florida State Senate.

Rankin ran for election to the office of Florida Chief Financial Officer. He was uncontested for the Democratic nomination in the August 26 primary and faced Republican incumbent Jeffrey Atwater in the general election. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.

In 2012, Rankin indicated interest in running for District 34 of the Florida State Senate but failed to appear on the primary ballot. Incumbent Maria Sachs was unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14, 2012, while Ellyn Bogdanoff defeated Mike Lameyer in the Republican primary. Sachs defeated Bogdanoff in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
