Michael A. Della Vecchia is a senior judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. Della Vecchia was first appointed to the court by then-Governor Tom Ridge in June 2001. He was then elected to his first term in November of 2001. Della Vecchia was retained in 2011.[1][2]

Education

Della Vecchia earned his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and his J.D. from Temple University.[3]

Career

Prior to being elected to the court, Della Vecchia spent 30 years in private practice at the following law firms, Evashavik & Della Vecchia, Rose, Schmidt, Hasley & DiSalle, and Brennan, Robins & Daley.[2]

Della Vecchia was retained with a "yes" vote of 74.7%.[4][5]
