Robert L. Freitag was a judge of the Eleventh Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] He retired in July 2018.[2]

Elections

2014

Freitag was retained to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court with 84.2 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Robert L. Freitag as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[4]

Education

Freitag earned his J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 1967.[5]

Career

Prior to becoming a circuit judge, Freitag was an associate judge of the Eleventh Circuit Court. He also served for 10 months as a judge advocate with the U.S. Army Reserve in Iraq.[5]

Freitag was also a volunteer firefighter and a state-licensed emergency medical technician.[6]
