Harriet Thompson was a judge of the Kings County Surrogate's Court in New York. She assumed office on January 28, 2019. She left office on March 1, 2023.

Thompson was a judge of the New York City Civil Court in Queens County from 2011 to 2019. She was elected to this position on November 2, 2010.[1][2]

Thompson resigned from the bench on March 1, 2023 due to medical reasons.[3]

Education

Thompson received a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburg and a J.D. from the Albany Law School.[4]

Career

Prior to joining the civil court, Thompson practiced law with Harriet Thompson & Associates LLP in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, N.Y..[2]
