As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.

Nerren advanced from the election on November 6, winning 39.8% of the vote. He defeated Whit Graves in the runoff election on December 8, winning 53.5% of the vote.[3][4] [5]

Education
Nerren received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University-Shreveport and his J.D. from Louisiana State University-Baton Rouge.[1]
Career
Prior to his election to the bench, he served as an assistant district attorney.[1]
