Earl W. Bartgis, Jr. is an associate judge for the Eleventh District Court in Frederick County, Maryland. He was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley on November 25, 2013.[1]

Education

Bartgis received his undergraduate degree from George Mason University and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.[1]

Career

Before his appointment to the court, Bartgis practiced law as a sole practitioner, specializing in commercial litigation, landlord-tenant, family, and personal injury law. He has also previously practiced law with the firm of Miles & Stockbridge and served as a court-appointed attorney for children in Frederick County.[1]
