Laurence D. Pierce was an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on January 15, 2014. His nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council by a vote of 7-0, on February 19, 2014. His term expires when he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.[2][3][4]

Education

Pierce earned an undergraduate degree from Harvard College, graduating cum laude, in 1976. He was awarded a J.D. from the Antioch School of Law in 1981.[2]
