Efrain V. Valdez

Efrain V. Valdez is a judge of the Val Verde County Court in Texas. He was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1]

Valdez ran for election to the Val Verde County Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 51.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Roberto Fernandez.
General: He defeated incumbent Laura Allen in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2][3][4][5]
Career
From 2006 to 2010, Valdez served two terms as the mayor of Del Rio, Texas. He also has experience as an educator, coach and city councilman.[6][7]
